  1. I don't think it's a strength issue. Same issue plagued him last year when he was a huge 125 pounder. He just needs to know when to bail...honestly he should avoid all scrambles. He's just a REALLY bad scrambler...reminds me of Jimmy Gullibon.
  2. I also worry about him on bottom. I don't want to see him get McCroned again.
  3. The All-Star match doesn't count.
  4. Still feeling Teemer taking out Kasak in the quarters?
  5. Steveson is literally the best on the planet. He's definitely going to win again and get the Hodge but I'm not sure I see the point unless he's getting a ton of NIL. It's like Lebron James playing college basketball at this point.
  6. Good catch. I did not know he was a transfer.
  7. Kasak showed some rust and a bit of a weak gas tank at Big 10s but he also showed some massive power, particularly in pancaking Antrell Taylor and Brandon Cannon. Is Kasak this year's strongest P4P guy out there in terms of his strength relative to the field? Or is someone like AJ or Steveson still king?
  8. I have changed my tune on Gabe. I'm a fan.
  9. Who are the Most Valuable Transfers this year? Only factor in this year's performance and not past or future performance. Nominees: Kyle Parco (Fresno State, Arizona State to Iowa) Jacori Teemer (Arizona State to Iowa) Buchanon (Oklahoma to Wyoming to Iowa) Caliendo (NDSU to Iowa) Pindrickson (Air Force to Ok St) Hamiti (Wisconsin to Ok State) Mesenbrink (Cal Baptist to Penn State) Kerkvliet (Ohio State to Penn State) Cardenas (Cornell to Michigan) Barraclough (Penn State to UVU) Ferrari (Ok State to Iowa to CSU) My top 3: Mesenbrink Pindrickson Ferrari
  10. I literally was giving him love for being a great teammate... Misinterpret much?
  11. Wow, cheering on a fellow teammate. He truly goes above and beyond what is expected!
  12. Was it enjoyable to watch Mendez during those matches for you?
  13. 125: n/a 133: n/a 141: n/a 149: Henson 157: n/a 165: Mesenbrink 174: KOT 184: Keck, Starocci 197: Ferrari HWT: Steveson, Pindrickson, Trephan
  14. In his 2 wins over defending champ Jesse Mendez Bartlett has scored ALL of the takedowns...
  15. Yes, exactly 15. He has 2 losses at 125.
  16. Davis is such a puzzling wrestler. At times he looks like he could be an All-American but in almost any top 25 matchup he displays a shocking lack of positional awareness. He always seems to get caught in scrambles where he ends up on his back and gives up nearfall or gets pinned. It's seriously odd watching him try to leg pass or roll with guys from top. The coaches need to tell him just to bail more often and give up the reversal instead of 6 points. I thought he had improved this year but it appears he's just as prone to this as last year.
  17. He has 6 losses this season though. Can they ignore all his losses at 133?
  18. Did you expect them to beat Penn State, or just take 2nd?
  19. I believe Steveson doesn't have enough matches for a RPI....and Pindrickson won Big 12s and is undefeated.
  20. Kerk will be the 3 obviously. Pindrickson gets the 2 seed.
  21. I agree, Iowa did not underperform.
  22. This will be quite the pickle. How do people see this going? I know there is a formula but I am going to assume if you have 3 losses or more and did not win your conference there's no shot of a #1 seed. 125 contenders for #1 seed: Ventresca 18-3, ACC champ Lilledahl 20-2, Big Ten champ Ramos, 26-1, 3rd place Big Ten Figueroa 16-2, 3rd place Big 12 141 contenders for #1 seed: Hardy, 23-3, Big Ten champ Bartlett, 21-1, 3rd place Big Ten Alirez, 16-1, 3rd place Big 12 Happel, 21-3, Big 12 champ Koderhandt, 23-3, EIWA champ
