Another lie. Hate crime "add ons" arent universally applied regardless of circumstances.
absolutely not a lie. If you are left leaning and assault a tranny with a hammer, you will go down with a hate crime as well as aggravated assault.

But as I’ve said on this topic before, slippery slopes have a point of no return.
Yes, this is true. But when someone states this, it is mostly held in derision.

You seem to think your left leaning progressive ideology would insulate you from this. This is where the left eats their own. You would have little chance of prevailing on the hate crime assault charge. This is what you wanted afterall.

Thanks for the info.

Not particularly interested. 401K is doing fine as it is. Just from the sound of it. I'd need more info to make a judgement.

What you are arguing RV is that the reporting of it is fine but the act was wrong.
You are incorrect on the first. A male wagged his willy in front of kids and that is a gross sex assault. See I got them both right in one sentence. As a scientist, you should be concerned about accuracy.

That's a 110% lie. If there's a clear reason why such as this then it isn't a hate crime.
Incorrect. The most it could be is a 100% lie. As a scientist you should be well aware of this.

I don't see anyone else saying my contribution to the thread was wrong. Rs and D's are stupid.

I think you said you got a masters in geology and you are still saying "110% of people"? There is no way, no how, there can be 100% percent of people. I assume you know what this means. Obviously accuracy is not your main concern.
I think you are fighting this one too much. You are sounding like all the crazy Ds from before the election. Only you haven't figured out that this language doesn't work anymore.

To a hammer everything looks like a threat to your world view.
Hospitals? Really?!
How stupid could you be to say something like this?
How bias could you be to not immediately disavow this comment and pivot to ‘but crime somewhere else unrelated..’(might as well ask about her emails)? It must be exhausting having to continually bend yourself into pretzels to defend the indefensible.
The basis of this thread is Stupidity is a Competitive Category. I merely provided a counter to the Rs are stupid with a Ds are stupid.
I dont think the rep from UT thought this through clearly. I would not have said this. However, if his data is correct and more than million people are dying in hospitals, it would be good to know what this means. End of life scenario? Surgery gone bad? Someone went in for a broken leg and died of pneumonia contracted at the hospital?
Don't go to the hospital unless you want to get sick. That's pretty much what I understand. I try to stay away from those places. But more info on what he is trying to say would be helpful. This is similar to the argument that x people die of gun violence trying to make it look like gangland out there when more than half are suicide. Another case of statistics are lies.
That said, it is stupid of D politicians saying there is no crime issue and Trump has it wrong. Bowser said that too and has now changed her tune. There is a crime problem in big cities and more active police officers is an answer as shown in DC. Another is actually prosecuting criminals rather than letting them out on no cash bail or just releasing them or not charging them. The guy that killed the lady on the light rail was a many time arrested and many time convicted criminal. It is ridiculous to say crime is not a problem and we can handle it when it is apparent, Chicago is not handling it and DC was not until help arrived. Hopefully DC can keep a handle on it so it doesn't spike to its pre "fed help" levels.

Also, everybody knows thar biological females don't have penises. Therefore the terminology here is 110% irrelevant compared to the true travesty here.
What? The sex act is one thing. Reporting it falsely is another thing. Talk about gaslighting. Language matters and truth matters. A woman did not shake her willy at kids as it has been reported. That is false.
Not diminishing the gravity of the crime, but the reporting of it is trying to make it something it was not.

110% bs. It's way way way more important that a person exposed their genitalia than whether you call her a man or trans woman. Absolutely disgusting that u think the terminology is more important than the crime itself. Sick of wingers gaslighting sex crimes. Exposing a penis to a kid for gratification is absolutely disgusting.
It is disgusting that the news would propagate falsehoods like this so brazenly.
She wagged her penis in front of the kids. There is a dissonance to this that is crazy. Your last sentence is correct.
How is it gaslighting sex crimes by saying it wasn't a woman waving her penis in front of kids when a woman doesn't have one? A man has one. It is like saying a male lion nursed a lion cub. Everyone knows a male lion cannot nurse. Everone knows that a woman does not have a penis. The article is factually wrong in this regard. Pretending otherwise is the gaslighting.

What woman has a penis? The definition of a woman is one without a penis. The fact that this woman had a penis means this woman was not a woman, but is a man. Period.

Watching the video, the lady is in the wrong. She was not even on the same level as the ball or the guy that grabbed it. Some Karen with an superiority complex that feels she is owed everything she wants.

There is no crime problem in Chicago. We don't need federal assistance because there is no crime problem in Chicago. We have it covered.
Alternative: There is no crime problem in DC. We don't need federal assistance because there is no crime problem in DC. We have it covered. Oh, I guess DC crime is down remarkably after the federal assistance. We will work more closely with the feds on keeping our crime down.
First is stupid. The second is stupid too, but enlightened with new info.

Crime will almost always drop at least a little if u flood an area w LE. It wasn't just NG. It was FBI, DEA, ICE, etc. The question is how much, was it worth it to FEDERAL taxpayers and what happens after they leave. It's pretty dumb to conclude right now that it "worked."
The big waste here is NG.
It's pretty dumb to say it didn't work when all the evidence is pointing to drastically reduced numbers in violent crime. So short term there was great news. Long term is up to DC. If crime goes back to where it was 2 things should happen, voters should find people who will keep crime down and current DC admin needs to fix the problem now if they want to keep their jobs. That's pretty much the gist of it. Ds have always said that this can't be done, no way can it be done and we don't need extra folks here proving us wrong. That is the real issue. With crime in Chicago completely out of control, the mayor and Gov says all is good, we are handling it when the evidence is to the contrary. They don't want to be forced to confront the problem because that is what they want obviously. Otherwise they would be begging for the help.
Short term the goal is to show that increased presence of LE reduces crime. Long term is to have the city adjust to maintain that. It's very simple, so simple that you simply cannot grasp it. Or you simply won't grasp it intentionally. It is sad when someone gives up like you have.

1) your numbers are social media agenda driven BS, intended for blind sheep to run with and parrot. Can you cherry pick this district or that area to find those numbers…of course. But as for totality of American students across the country your parroting is not repeating accurate information. You can spend the next couple of hours finding social media posts to copy if you want to try and combat that but I’d suggest you not waste your time, it’s not convincing.
2) I’ve said in similar discussions on this board the #1 reason for performance decline is parents, and not at all a country full of teachers who don’t care, as you describe. For one, far too many parents these days take the easy route instead of the difficult route. Because allowing kids to play their games and thumb around in Instagram and TikTok is a lot easier than doing the hard work, disciplining their kids to be accountable for their learning, engaging in activities that enhance their learning, getting them outside for exercise, etc. And secondly, more and more parents are setting bad examples for their kids who are sucking up what they see their parents doing. For example, if a parent is spending hours upon hours everyday thumbing social media sites so they can copy and paste for gotcha moments to complete strangers on the internet 1) what kind of example is that setting for the kids and 2) how are they holding the kids accountable for their learning, engaging in activities with them to enhance their learning, etc.
Agree with this.

Public education's goal in the first place was to give everyone equality of opportunity. We can see now that this is not happening with the public schools. What do we want the public schools to do: Educate people so they can be productive in society or keep the illiterate so they have to be wards of the state for the rest of their lives?

It's just a bad use of NG. They arent trained for LE at all. They can't do much (eg arrest anybody) and it's not practicable to keep them there forever. We're pulling them away from their jobs and families for negligible long term benefit.
But the short term benefit is there for all to see in DC. I mentioned this in another post. If the locality does not change tactics, then the NG effort will be short term only and not long term. But the short term benefit will clearly show the people of the city what the Ds offer them. And it is only more death and carnage and poverty.
Long term cities should increase the police force so there can be effective policing. But the courts and prosecutors need to be on board as well.

It worked in DC. It should be worth a try at some other crime riddled locale. Chicago could really experience a renaissance with 1 killing a week and less than 10 shots fired a week. Alas, that is so far out of scope with current practices that it seems like it is time to try something different.

Oregon too. OSU wrestlers will have to practice with masks and dual with masks. The science is in, the masks did not protect. It is just another power grab.

I have said this before but I will say it again. There are many reasons that the public schools are failing. None of them include lack of funding($17K+ per student here in KS). Just a few of the many reasons below.
1. No child left behind(one of the reasons why some high schoolers can't read)
2. Lack of Actual Parenting(schools are not your childcare)
3. No student accountability (teachers are not allowed to punish kids for bad behavior and instead are encouraged to use positive reinforcement. That doesn't work. Most kids don't care about rewards, stickers, pizza parties, etc)
4. Qualified teachers are burned out because they are being asked to do too much. They can't educate properly if they are too busy trying to act as an educator, counselor, parent, etc
I can't argue with any of this.
