He was only !9 when he beat the reigning Olympic Champion and the reigning World Champion and the reigning NCAA Champion. All within a 4 month period.

Yes Snyder is our best 197. He did get pinned by a 5th year senior . Snyder was a true freshman. It was a O to 0 match. Snyder made one slight mistake and it cost him the match. But then during the summer at the trials he beats Olympic Champ Jake Varner. Later that summer he wrestles in the World Championships at the age of 19 and beats the defending Word Champion from Russia for the Gold Medal. Becoming the youngest American to win a world Gold Medal. He then elects to wrestle heavyweight in college because NCAA does not have a 212 pound weight .He was giving up 60 to 70 pounds to the bigger heavyweights . Then he went Gold NCAA and Gold OLYmpics his sophomore year. Gold NCAA and Gold World his Junior year.NCAA Gold and Silver World his Senior year. He never took a redshirt or an Olympic year off.

I also noticed the extra bit of chippyness and arrogance. But what stood out the most was Lees conditioning . Midway through the second period ( which he didn't get to very often)he was really struggling. I'm sure the opposing coaches and wrestlers saw it also.

I think you are probably right . Wrestling at the Senior level would get even more difficult.

I saw a bracket with Corn Pop vs Joe Biden. It didn't go well for Joe. Joe shot in on a single and Corn Pop hit Joe with a spladle .

I figured it was probably financial . You would sell out the BJC. But when you watch some of the other state tournaments everyone isn't there for every session. The semi's and finals are you usually packed out. I wonder what Penn State would charge for the BJC for 3 days?

I don't think he can make 74 kg. If he does worlds it would be 79 kg . he would have to be Dake or Boroughs. I'm not sure that would go to well for him right now. If he does Olympics its 86 kg.

God gives you the tools but you must wrestle the match. It wouldn't be fair if God wrestled it for you.
