  1. It is INDEED a clown show, as these world leaders can attest to.
  2. That would be illegal, as the Bakke case in 1978 established. Been illegal ever since.
  3. You're probably too young to have heard the saga of my name and where I've lived over the years. Not sure I'll take it on again tonight. It's not as "a-ha" as you may be anticipating.
  4. Deuce violated it just minutes after his court appearance. Like so many others, social media has been the death of Deuce.
  5. Is ya mad? What are you trying to say, and in which language are you trying to say it in!? Lawsuit!? HUH?! As we said in Minnesota, yowza; someone ain't right upstairs, my friends.
  6. What were some other documented reasons? I know of varying skill sets that workers abroad brought to the table and natural resources, but what else would not have related to putting more money in peoples' pockets?
  7. Actually, thanks for the reminder.
  8. That was related to how COVID information was contained? I think it just simply meant that those folks at Pfizer got first dibs.
  9. Breathe my boy...BREATHE. It'll all be ok. Need a should to cry on, my boy? Gotta love someone who doesn't move on from twenty years ago, eh, friends?
  10. As you look in the mirror. Relax and breathe, my boy.. BREATH...
  11. AND, business is not government, and vice versa.
  12. I'm curious what information regarding the outbreak was contained. I'm not aware of any of that.
  13. I noticed the error when I wrote it, but didn't take the time to correct it. Oh well.
  14. Did someone say Howe?! Why, he's one of my heroes.
  15. Well, on the surface, that would seem intuitively true. However, there is a notion sociology, that goes by many different names, known as the Knowledge-Information Paradox. The idea is that we have more information at the touch of our fingers today than at any other time in history, but the paradox is is that with SO MUCH information, it's becoming harder and harder to ascertain the truth. Look at how we can't even agree on reality today. There is no issue that doesn't conjure up alternative views of reality, completely divorced from reality. I'm a huge believer in it and simply call it, TMI. We have too much information, in my view.
  16. Why am I reminded of Gary Hart's now timely book that we don't elect the best and the brightest among us anymore?
  17. We've never been able to, certainly not where I work. It is grounds for removal from your post and severe reprimand.
  18. Get a little used to this, folks. It's all part of a nationwide trend that will affect these smaller, private schools first.
  19. Looks like a two-tiered system of justice, benefitting the Sqwawkers.
  20. Given the fact that educators cannot discuss systemic forms of prejudice, discrimination, and racism in several states (and growing), it's only slightly ironic that there is full on systemic forms of these things when it comes to one of our political parties.
  21. Could be, but given the threats that have come at these officials since the election, it's probably more preventative than anything else.
  22. I guess I'm trying to figure out how the conclusion, "Biden is guilty" is being thrown around, given all of the cut and dried "whistleblowers" either can't be found or are disgruntled FBI employees who broke the conditions of their employment. I see nothing in reported news that indicates any such thing.
  23. Thanks. I appreciate it, but don't think I'll be as high flying as I was twenty years ago.
  24. I'm old enough to remember when Turley was seen as the worst SOB in the land on AM radio and Tattletale News, due to his incessant questioning and criticism of George W. Bush's anti-terrorism efforts, among other things. Goes to show how money can turn your "principles" around pretty quickly.
