  1. For one, these are rare instances, and they're occurring in red and blue cities, whatever that means. I also suspect there's a lot more to it than what Tattletale "News" is leading people to believe. Keep the angry uninformed and vice versa is all they are designed to do.
  2. This is it. Not for the weak.
  3. The entire album where the song came from is probably the worst train wreck album you'll ever hear. Every song is a tragedy.
  4. Can't take his skills away from him, for sure. Among, if not the best 125 pounder I've seen.
  5. I always welcome a good back and forth with a Sqwawker.
  6. Word on the street here in Ioway is that he's still on his back, staring at the lights.
  7. Of course, I didn't buy it, but a UNI student who was working at the Hyvee in Cedar Falls said that he wrestled Biscoglia in high school and that his grip is so strong that he can break your hand, just be squeezing it. Fun tale, but Homey ain't buyin' it.
  8. Our best wrist rider, that is during the years that I've closely followed UNI, was Eric Hauan. He was incredible, and a Lutheran, or as we say in Minnesota, "Luttren" pastor today.
  9. Name could also become Quad really quickly, as Deuce has been criminally indicted four different times. What a role model for our kids, eh?
  10. Donnie T. was impeached twice. Hence, Deuce.
  11. Unfortunately, and, as you likely know, by the 30 percenters he was lumped in with Fauci, in terms of his knowledge of epidemiology and virus spreading.
  12. Impossible for me, just as is "what are your favorite songs?"
  13. I personally think that many of these aren't super well thought out, but, oh well.
  14. No, it's a statement of fact about this individual-it WAS a two-time thing-and nothing in the world should be taken as offensive. If it is, then I'll happily re-evaluate.
  15. Then so be it; that's how all of this has been operating anyway, since day one. These tribes are first consulted as to their like or dislike of the terms and if changes are eventually made, they are made based on their consultation. If changes aren't made, then these tribes had no objection. That's an easy and respectful one but that should not be my job to determine its offensiveness for them.
  16. Well, first off, whom is is this Deuce that I'm referring to? Second, if you know whom Deuce is, how is the name offensive, given its context?
  17. Yeah, but one of the things I find bizarre is that too many determine for OTHERS what should and shouldn't be offensive to them. It's not my job nor place to tell someone what should and shouldn't offend them. That's just flat out obnoxious to me.
  18. A speaker at a workshop that I attended many years ago made a really great point when pondering the use of such derisive terms. I've tried to live my life by it ever since. If you wonder if the use of a term is ok, ask yourself these questions. 1. Would you want those words published on the front page of a newspaper? 2. Would you want someone to use those words toward your spouse, child, or partner? 3. Would you use those words in the presence of your spouse, child, or partner? Obviously, if any of the answers are "no," the words are probably not well chosen words.
  19. Didn't they compose the pieces?
  20. Thanks for providing the best material that I could EVER use in a mere two "sentences." LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. Thanks for providing the best material that I could EVER use in just three paragraphs. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
