  1. 8 AAs and counting for PSU
  2. Followed up by a great ride from Lilledahl
  3. Rookie mistake by Lilledahgl to give up the penalty while on top.
  4. You will 100% want to check my data entry skills as I found two half-point errors in my session 2 scoring. But here goes. Not a lot of change at the top. Just some gentle reshuffling. But these standings do not mean a lot. There is still a lot of potential for change with several Dark Horses hunting All-American. A win there and you really start accumulating the points. Only the heavies have all been sent to the glue factory. Every other weight has at least only Dark Horse still alive. Below is each teams Alive wrestler with their score to date. @CHROMEBIRD needs DJ Washington to win in the BR to separate from @flyingcement But the real danger comes from @BigRedWrestler308 who has the most horses alive. His four horses of the apocalypse are looking to do some damage. Sadly @jmoney is a sitting target, with no horses left to move him. But it really only takes one. So, @TylerDurden, @Bigbrog, @Gambatte, and perhaps a few others, are not out of it yet.
  5. And sadly Parco has the record. Tough way to end his career, with an injury. But he did have a great career with four All-American finishes to his name.
  6. Damn good question. I am not sure what the answer is. Perhaps some of our other historians can help. @cowcards, @gimpeltf, @lu_alum ?
  7. The placement points are awarded incrementally as they are locked. For example, if you win a semi then you are guaranteed at least second place, so they add in the second place points to the team score right away (12). Then if you win the final the team gets the incremental placement points (4) at that point. Bloodround winners are guaranteed at least eighth so they get 3 placement points upon winning the BR. Etc.
  8. It is just his thing. He haaaaates Penn State with a red hot passion. That the 3 lightest weights for PSU scored enough to finish 18th last year, and more than doubled Nebraska's 3 lightest weights just makes the hate glow brighter.
  9. And start pronouncing pinfall correctly.
  10. @Jimmy Cinnabon and @jajensen09 may want to get a room.
  11. Figueroa eliminated the year after he wins. Highs and lows.
  12. Byrd just big brothering Davis
  13. Agreed. And as they wrapped up yesterday Sparks was very complimentary to Hidlay. Credited him with teaching him a lot. For a guy who has been commentating as long as Sparks to say that is meaningful.
  14. Seeding to 16 started in 2014. In 2015 Zeke Moisey finished second at 125. The next closest is Kizhan Clark in 2022 and Ronald Perry in 2018 making the final as #15 seeds. The highest seed to win is Cody Brewer, a #13 seed at 133 in 2015. Since the expansion to 33 seeds in 2019 highest seeds to win are Carter Starocci (9), Richie Figueroa (8), Mekhi Lewis (8), and Shane Griffith (8).
  15. Indeed he did. Slavikouski had what appeared to be an odd game plan to back out of bounds against light pressure and get himself DQ'd
  16. Wyatt Sheets in 2021 as a #33 seed
  17. That really sucks. A healthy O'Toole makes it a much better experience. I want to see the best at their best against the best at their best.
  18. Who ya got? There are 5 Dark Horses alive on the championship side of the bracket: 133 Angelo Rini IND 157 Trevor Chumbley NW 174 Lennox Wolak VT 197 Seth Shumate OSU 197 Gabe Sollars IND (on a side note - great job, Angel Escobedo) And there are another 89, seeded 17 - 33, still alive in the consolation bracket. I like both #33's Teague Travis (149) and Chandler Amaker (165)
  19. Hidlay has beenn exceptional. Between him on ESPN, and Malik Amine on BTN, there is some great new talent.
  20. Damn Tableau read it as integers instead of decimals. Fixed.
  21. @jmoney is so money and he doesn't even know it. And @flyingcement is flying.
  22. Andrew Alirez, right?
  23. That one is not for the faint of heart. There is a whole lotta bourbon in that barrel.
  24. How much does Sparks think the Stouts get in NIL. Take your brother to a steak house and pick up the tab?
