I have seen Jax Forrest and Bo Bassett mentioned as M2 guys. The thing about Kasak and Haines is they are in the middle of a logjam, especially with Starocci coming back. If not them, then perhaps some other would be starter. Or maybe one, or more, of their vaunted second or third string guys like Cochran or Barraclough (already in the portal).

I do not think that is accurate. A number of current wrestlers (Kasak and Haines) and incoming recruits go through M2.

I'm thinking you should circle ISU at Iowa or Okie St at Iowa the next time they come up. Either of those should get the crowd in a fired up mood.

In trying to parse the rule, I have gone back and forth on this. But now I am leaning (just slightly) that maybe (possibly, not sure) it could be retroactive (?). My reasoning is that it is voted on by "The Committee on Student-Athlete Reinstatement, or a committee designated by it,". It is the word reinstatement that gives me pause. But the sentence finishes with: "shall have the authority to waive this provision by a two-thirds majority of its members present and voting to permit student-athletes to participate in..." Which seems to be a forward looking statement. So I think I could be convinced of either.

I know the rumored NIL payment from PSU related / connected entities would be an argument against what I am about to say, but I get the distinct impression that the PSU coaches will be happy to see the back of Starocci.

Just catching up on this thread. I know you have said several times that you have never been to Iowa, but you have also posted pics of yourself at other sporting events outside of your home state. So my question is, as a diehard Iowa fan who travels to sporting events, how in the hell have you never been to a meet at Carver Hawkeye? Having been there twice for Iowa/PSU, I cannot recommend this enough. The atmosphere is electric. I would recommend any fan of wrestling, not just Iowa wrestling, get ye to CHA.
