  1. Makes sense to me too. If he does not make the Bills' 53 man roster and does not get signed to a practice squad, then he will still have time to wrestle this year. Though, I am not sure what the eligibility/ transfer rules are with regard to that.
  2. You can add Max Dean to that list too. He was forced to go up to 197 because he could not beat Aaron Brooks, just like Truax (and Bartlett with Nick Lee).
  3. If Starocci can't beat Arnold, what chance does Kennedy have?
  4. I just finished listening to an old Rewatchables podcast where they did Hoosiers. In the "half-assed internet research" portion of the podcast they said the NCAA suspended 5 players for three games for appearing in this movie, and made them forfeit their pay. Per the NCAA spokesman, ''You can't use your athletic skill in a sport for pay.'' https://www.nytimes.com/1986/11/28/sports/5-players-banned-after-movie-role.html
  5. Standard deflection and denial from someone who suffers from the real concerning form of TDS, the one that blinds you to all he does, the one that makes you believe he has not earned his conviction and additional charges, in spite of his entire career being spent in a court room by his own choice and through his own actions.
  6. Interesting that you bring up one lie as a reason for getting fired and support for Trump in the same post, but do not see the irony.
  7. What is it?
  8. That is an amazing and impressive resume. And this is a well deserved honor for him. Thank you for sharing.
  9. Ready, fire, aim. That was criticism, not compliment.
  10. I only played squash once and got my ass kicked by an old man.
  11. This phenomena was predicted by Trump himself in 2016. "I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn't lose any voters, OK?"
  12. Maybe, but the structure of these three year deals for undrafted free agents is highly contingent. They get paid a weekly amount during training camp. Then the headline number on the contract only kicks in if they make the 53 man roster. And none of that is guaranteed. They only get the full amount if they are on the roster for the full year.
  13. Too late. I spent it all at Lou Malnati's
  14. You don't get this level of context when you just look at results like I do. This is great.
  15. Barraclough has been a spot starter for four years, appearing in 2 - 7 duals per year, but he does not have any post-season matches.
  16. My guess is they are not looking for him to make the roster this year. They know how big a project he is. Park him on the practice squad for the year, coach him up, and see what happens. It doesn't hurt that the HC has a wrestling background. https://www.foxsports.com/stories/nfl/sean-mcdermotts-wrestling-background-helped-shape-his-life
  17. This is something I can get excited about. I was never a fan of the fake wrestling career. Felt like a waste from the get go to me, but it was his dream so, so be it. His athleticism clearly meant nothing to fake wrestling, but it will be the only thing that can save him in the NFL.
  18. Give me a P... Give me an I... Give me an N... Give me a space... Give me an F.........
  19. They should change your emoji from banana to cherry cause your cherrypicking
  20. 230 - 240 range, I think. A real heavyweight.
  21. Well now that he isn't pretend wrestling anymore I dropped the spurious N.
  22. I always struggle with Earl. He was so dominant in so few matches against such undistiguished competition from only a fraction of the country, it is hard to place him. In 1928 he won two matches against guys who were never heard from again. In 1929 and 1930 he won three matches each year against four guys who were never heard from again, one who failed to AA the other time he wrestled, and one who AAd the next year. And this was at a time when 40% - 70% of the bracket AAd. But I am feeling generous. Since he has the fastest pin fall in NCAA history, I will bump Mocco, and slot Earl in at #5. And before you protest about the all mighty pin fall, be sure to review the rules in the 20's and 30's.
