  1. their matcast stream is commercial free.
  2. Thx, was wondering about the stoppage. I was on the medal round stream and they went to commercial with Lovett working for the reversal, by the time I got the matcast up it was stopped.
  3. Anyone see what happened in Kasak v Lovett?
  4. Correct, they won by 8, Lee scored 11.5. But, for some reason Bo "HE'S GOT THE CHIN" Nickal gets all the headlines. Go figure.
  5. indeed. Got in when someone was injured, though I can never find who he replaced.
  6. Scoring for the guys who are done scoring looks like this (3 or more). Foca was a nice surprise, Bastida not so much. But Seth Nevills putting up 4 from the #30 slot and Cayden Rooks doing the same from #32 impress me the most. Twenty gentlemen who were seeded top 8 will not finish top 8. That is slightly less than average (21.6). Without yet knowing where they will go, we know where they came from. To no one's surprise, the 125 AA's are the most diverse group by seed. While 133 is the only weight class to have the top 8 seeds vying for the final 8 spots (just not in that order).

  7. I know one thing. It won't be Brooks. He is too short for OW.
  8. To those by the wayside, we salute you. That is 20 top 8 seeds who will not AA.
  9. Possibly. At 148 through Friday, they are already through my projection of 145. With 6 in the final and 2 that can finish as high as 3rd, they have a good chance at this point. They need 23.5 to tie the era adjusted record (not yet adjusting for the 3 pt TD). Obviously, 6 titles tonight is 24 more points right there. Throw some bonus on top (and PSU has scored crazy bonus this year), and some Truax/Kasak magic, and the record is well in the rear view mirror. Then the only question will be how the 3 pt TD affects the total. This is tough. MDs of 8 or 9 points were unlikely to be MDs in years past. TFs, though, are a bit different. Who is to say a TF in the 2nd period would not also be a TF under the old rules? The bout is stopped for a reason, so that you will not keep stacking up points.
  10. Also this year, Tanner Jordan, the #23 seed at 125, lost to Barnett round 1 and is in the 7th place match.
  11. Wyatt Sheets in 2021 from the #33 slot, won the pigtail, lost round 1 to Deakin, finished 8th.
  12. Nick Lee in 2018 saw the lights in round one, finished fifth.
  13. We need a round robin tournament with Carr, O'Toole, and Mesenbrink.
  14. This and this. Love watching those two scrap.
  15. Morning drunk is a tough drunk.
  16. 31 bonus points so far out of PSU. Well above what they did all year.
  17. It is right up there. I look forward to Manning's tweet.
  18. NC State has laid the biggest egg so far.
  19. The truth is way less interesting. When I uploaded the data into Tableau it pulled it in as whole numbers instead of integers. I have never had it do that before. That meant all the halfpoints got rounded up to whole points. And as we know there are a few halfpoints in a wrestling tournie. When I converted to integers everyone gave blood.
  20. Just about. Lee was the #8 seed, Kasak #7. At least Kasak is still alive for third.
