  1. Fantastic take. Also, Starrocci is the kind of guy I would never ever want to get into a fight with solely because he'd post it all over social media and be the type of guy to remind me about it every day.
  2. Hopefully he'll be kind enough to set some money aside and honor his debt with steamboatcharlie
  3. I gotcha and I appreciate it
  4. I think you read over the word "possible" when you read my post. That word alone is not in Minnow fashion
  5. I know things change but hasn't Burroughs been on record that he has no interest in coaching? Out of that group I can see Taylor and Snyder having success. It's hard to wrap my head around the idea of Dake being coach. He'll be a teenager by the time his first recruiting class graduates. As for the next "great coach" is it a foregone conclusion that he'll have to be an Iowa State grad
  6. Is it possible that with Caliendo coming in and Steveson possibly coming that Kennedy and Cassioppi were involved in the gambling violations. @Husker_Du @Jason Bryant???
  7. Cael will go until he at least gets to 16 titles
  8. Not at all my friend.
  9. yes 97 or 98.
  10. This is a legendary PIAA wrestling story that may or may not have happened in the late 90's at the Manheim Holiday Tournament. There was a young man from District 3. He was truly a physical specimen and built up quite the reputation in Pennsylvania. For whatever reason while in the locker room he began motor mouthing away about how he was going to "take it to" a very nice young gentleman from District 11. Now this D11 kid many will tell you was quite the special wrestler. Any who. As our District 3 kid keeps motor mouthing to anyone that would listen little did he know our D11 phenom walked in. The locker room went silent. The D11 wrestler calmly said, "I'm going to send you out in a stretcher" and just walked out. And wouldn't you know it. He made good on his promise. I'm assuming @Husker_Du and @flyingcement are familiar with who the wrestlers are.
  11. I agree. Aj Ferrari would've teched David Taylor in 2 matches at Final X if he would've wrestled
  12. Noah Adams is definitely not better than Marcus Coleman. You can maybe argue equal to. Adams never placed at NCAAs
  13. If we're bringing Marcus Coleman into this than we can't ignore the fact that your Ferrari only beat Evan Bockman 6-3 and lost to Noah Adams 3-2. Brooks is a better wrestler.
  14. Haha! Fantastic post. Bravo
  15. Lately, some of these threads have really gone off the rails. In the "not a great look for wrestling fans" thread I posted what I thought were clearly comical post and a few posters took them literally.
  16. We're all still in the dark on the gambling allegations but I can guarantee that if it happens to put a big dent into the lineup Jimmy will post, "If Iowa hadn't lost so & so starters to gambling violations they would've have beaten Penn State"
  17. I applaud Bob Dole's mission to keep the forum clean but am very curious what the photos were
  18. He's not wrestling as a true freshman at 197. TE's and LB's play at 230 to 240lbs. Even with a redshirt this year he'll have to be in the weight room putting on a lot of muscle and mass
  19. While we're at it. Do you want to break it to the Iowa fans the Ben Kueter is a football recruit pursuing to play either LB or TE and will never wrestle 197 for the Hawkeyes
  20. Serious question. Are Iowa fans not paying attention to wrestling insiders who are all saying AJ is not only too big to go back down to 197 but also he doesnt want to because his goal is to fight light heavyweight in MMA. @ionel are you and I the only two who have heard this by multiple sources?
  21. Yeah, we all know @Jimmy Cinnabonis stupid...Just wanted to see his dumb math
  22. Can you please do the math to show how it will be a race next year? I'll help you out. Barring injury PSU will out place Iowa @ 133, 149, 157, 174, 184, 197, & Heavyweight
