I think we should call stalling on top way more liberally. I would not have called Parco for stalling in this situation, but would have earlier. The difference is the wrist. My perception is the reason Young was staying flat was because he didn't want to get up unless he got the wrist clear.

Except Parco had a cross wrist locked up and Young was flat on his belly. Jamison didn't and Rhodes wasn't. Never a doubt!

This is literally any college wrestling dual. There's just more people at the Iowa meets. Also I love the logic. "We would love it the fans could be less involved."

The fact that this dual isn't mandatory and both schools still schedule it is awesome. Low bar, i know.

I'm not sure only because there's not really a lot of toss ups. Maybe Iowa-ISU at the time. Given the actual way the duals played out, gonna be hard to beat Iowa-Nebraska or Iowa State-UNI.

Yes, 5-5, but much more pungent bonus available for OK State, and only one real upset possibility, whereas OK State has 157 and 165 as realistic upsets.

Man, when you see the lineups you realize Iowa is a distinct underdog in this format.

Yeah, but more likely to do well fully healthy against a tougher field than less than fully healthy against a weaker field, no?
