  1. Mine is flying on my truck today
  2. Couple thoughts on the coaches knowing the score and who's winning. Yianni's matches were nuts and there was lots of back and forth going on and even some 2-2 situations that in the heat of the moment you don't know who is given the important last score. Sitting at home it is easy for me to know the situation as I'm not emotionally invested in knowing the score, yelling instructions, figuring out if we need to change the gameplan, etc. I'd give Grey a pass here mainly because there were some weird situations in the Yianni match where you aren't sure the order of the scores or who was given what points. More than anything UWW/USAW needs to do a better job of giving the coaches indicators of the number of specific types of scores. Even having a running count of scores under the wrestler's name would go a long way to helping figure out who is leading and what they need to score. I will throw Flo a compliment in that Pyles seems to be good at telling the audience what is needed for wrestlers to win a match when they are down late.
  3. Technically Richard Voliva was an Olympic Silver
  4. Ugh... Okie State vs. Penn State, goodness the air in heaven is quite thin.
  5. Ohio State vs. Penn State... my bad, first mistake of the year.
  6. First time they have acknowledged any issues since the OSU vs. Iowa debacle
  7. We need a ranking of people with the last name Lee from Indiana. My rankings are 1. Chris Lee- Father of the three brothers, he's tough as nails, wouldn't mess with him 2. Pete Lee- heavyweight champ when it was unlimited 3. Joe Lee- He's the middle child, way meaner than Nick and Matt 4. Hayden Lee- beat Nick in a match 5. Brayton Lee- He won more state titles than Nick 6. Ryan Lee- 3rd at heavyweight, size matters 7. Garrison Lee- bigger than most Lees so he's dangerous 8. Nick Lee- decent, if he works hard he might be able to win a few matches 9. Matt Lee- baby of the family, but still pretty good 10. Charles Lee- 185lb placer
  8. I'll admit most of the time the streaming issues are due to IO10T errors. However tonight has been atrocious. Did the Canadian wild fires affect internet in New Jersey?
  9. That explains a lot, probably used punch cards boomer.
  10. I'll ban you for suggesting Vlookup, Xlookup is the way man. Vlookup is like using Windows, Xlookup is like using Linux.
  11. Oh they are lurking, I'm guessing Spey is here somewhere. He is a messageboard hero and just is in disguise. I'll snuff him out soon enough though. The talking heads though probably aren't able to update wrestler profiles as they can barely copy and paste from Word into the articles.
  12. Their code is fine....well the main website code is fine. The streaming stuff is a whole other topic.
  13. Didn't think I'd ever see sprints and Jira used in this context on a wrestling messageboard, but here we are.
  14. I'm not concerned about the mistake, it's moreso seeing that a mistake was made and fixing it ASAP. Their site is basically a custom Wordpress site with nothing spectacular. It looks like they are adding some custom tables for wrestler profiles with results and such. <sarcasm>I would have no idea where they would get that idea.</sarcasm> Last year I was randomly selected to go over things I liked and disliked on their website. I also got to preview potential future enhancements. One of the best things was seeing a page that looked VERY similar to a page on another website. It was an interesting process especially because I'm a poweruser of TrackWrestling.
  15. Maybe I should edit my comment, they can probably barely use the sum function. XLookup is much more complicated and requires a little more knowledge than what you get in a basic computer class.
  16. Well honey, I have had enough interactions with them to figure out they aren't very tech savvy. They are obviously no Bob Dole.
  17. I'm guessing most of the FloBros cannot utilize a macro and barely can use an XLookup or Sum function.
  18. No clue exactly, but a couple possibilities. My guess would be for the ones that have issues they pulled info from an event and pulled the wrong name column. For other events they pulled the correct name column. It's a common mistake, just usually you get it fixed before too many people see it.
  19. Sometimes you pull the wrong column for the query, weird though that they pulled a parent's name though.
  20. Wrestlers routinely travel around and train at other RTCs. I know NLWC and Penn have a good relationship along with many others. I believe Molinaro is at Penn this week which might suggest some ASU guys are there too. Gwiz has spent a good deal of time at NLWC. I believe the traveling around is more of a personal choice as to not give looks to others that are trying to chase you down.
  21. This board isn't associated with FloWrestling
  22. One thing that doesn't get talked about as much is how sporadic Greco results can be. Folkstyle and Freestyle results seem to be more consistent through the years. Greco results will see guys in the finals not even come close the next year or a guy who hasn't placed in five years all of a sudden get a world championship. There always seems to be 5+ returning world medalists in each weight every year. How do we turn Greco around into something we get a couple medals and a couple more in the hunt for a medal every year?
  23. I'm hoping the lines finally die down so I can get my food faster.
