Might AA someone this year. Looking much better than last year’s lineup. Let’s see if that room can get the most out of any of these guys. Gotta think if Kish struggles this season his seat is getting hot.

I’ll take a stab and say they AA one and have a handful R16/R12. Should be a few spots higher in the Big 12 than last season. Big red flag is that everyone is transferred in, can they build organically through recruiting and development as well? We shall see

I don’t see the transfers thing as a major issue…if anything it brings in a level of well rounded experience a lot of teams don’t have. Everybody just needs to come in and do their part, win their matches and it will be fine. Do you have the right guys is always the bigger question.

I'm not sure about Wells back down at 133.  He didn't have an easy time making that weight his last year at Minnesota.  Maybe the weight comes off better in the desert heat.

Not sure, but it sounds like he will try from what I heard

I agree, I'm not damning the approach. If you have young studs, fill your lineup to be competitive this season and bring on those young guys, have a couple seniors that leave after reaching the podium or something and usher in the young guys for the following seasons and let your program roll off the success of this season and the momentum and so on...def don't see it as a big deal unless you cannot bring a team together and there is no development going on, which points to coaching typically. Honestly very interested to see this OU squad

I think the lineup you put out makes a ton of sense and is very likely their strongest lineup. I'm not certain Wells is the starter at 141 if he can't get down to 133. Maybe it's just the potential of Powe vs. the known of Wells, but I like Powe and like him to take a nice step forward after a strong season, and combining that with a size advantage, I think he could certainly beat Wells in a wrestle-off

20.9% of projected starters are transfers

8 non-d1 schools have produced a d1 starter

Oklahoma has produced the least starters, with only 3. Ohio St has the most with 16.Image

@Owen Rector I love that stat. Also, if Conrad Hendrickson starts for OU won't they have produced zero starters in their lineup. Didn't he start at UTC?

Great graphic.  I can't help but notice the Ivies and the Service Academies.  To me that tells me that school is more important than wrestling and earnings will take care of itself without chasing NIL money.

Anthony Ferrari back in the portal?

What are rules at this point?

Wait - leaving Morgan St for the 2nd time after only a monthish each time?

This feels like Monday gave him guidelines and he broke them already and got the boot

Did the transfer portal open up again or did Monday loose his job?

I believe if you are removed from a team for discipline reasons you aren't restricted by the portal window on transferring

A loophole!  Just be a jack@ss and you can transfer whenever you want.
