I'm only watching intermittently while waiting for the ILT on Sunday but in the 157 semis, the 12 seed from Morgan State (Charles, who had already pulled two upsets to reach the semis) got tossed on his head OOB by the 1 seed, was awarded a point for misconduct, then failed the concussion protocol... advancing him to the finals at a 2-bid weight.

He was 2-8 coming into EIWAs. I believe he’s Morgan state first NCAA qualifier. In high school he randomly moved to NJ from South Carolina for his senior year and lost in the finals then vanished until today.
D3 for LU Posted March 7 Posted March 7 (edited) Hmm... looks like Nathan Taylor is back to his "Old" self as he had a definitely different outcome against NAVY's Lanosca than their dual result (won by Nathan 4-1 SV)... Won his semifinal match in 5-0 fashion... despite the score, Nathan rode Lanosca "forever & a day" and control. The big test will be in the finals this afternoon @ 2pm. Schon of Drexel, who beat ARMY's Colbert by fall in their semis. (Colbert beat Taylor up @ West Point, 8-1 in their dual.) D3 Edited March 7 by D3 for LU Never argue with an idiot.
