I thought questioning election results was a threat to democracy?

I learned about this in 5 minutes. Listening to the radio.
That you have this opinion tells me you have no idea what happened and how unethical the Republican Party and attorney general of Texas, are.

Not surprising. You’ve always been allergic to information that reflects reality.

So it’s only “sometimes” bad for democracy to question election results.   Got it.

you know there is a chance that I'm correct and you don't want to risk outwardly disagreeing with and then having to prove evidence. Except you know you don't have any.

says the guy with no evidence

i deleted the rest of your post b/c it was just psycho babble your therapist told you once.

If you can’t explain the situation that Rep. Crockett is speaking about then you are commenting out of ignorance.

I have a feeling you didn’t investigate even a bit just parroted what someone else said. Not surprising for you.

what does a image maker post about pete buttjudge have to do with crocket.

and why would i have to explain current events to you yet again.

why would i care to.

In two major counties — Dallas and Williamson — there was significant confusion over where voters could cast their ballot. For years, they could vote anywhere in the county. But for this primary, the local Republican parties opted against countywide voting.

With state law mandating that both parties have to agree to use the countywide system, voters could only vote at their assigned precinct — forcing many to figure out where exactly that was.

Things quickly turned messy, with lawsuits, changes to voting hours and Democrats calling foul. U.S. Rep. Jasmine Crockett, who represents much of the Dallas area, called the rule change an “effort to suppress the vote.” Despite beating Crockett, state Rep. James Talarico's campaign said it was “deeply concerned” about the issue.

So, Republicans decided to just change the way voting was to take place in just two counties in the whole state.

I know you don't care. You've programmed yourself to dismiss anything I say as untrustworthy. Not because I'm wrong. But because you are scared to engage and be proven wrong. If you were honest, and lets be clear YOU  AREN'T AND NEVER HAVE BEEN, you would be interested in any information that would help you be more accurate in your ideas and opinions. You would rather reinforce your biases because you find comfort in safety. That happens. I get it. But these are just ideas and opinions. Not limbs. You are in no physical danger if it turns out you are and have always been wrong. The only stress you have to worry about is how to rearrange how you triage information. How you vet sources. It is quite possible that a friend or family member that was once a trusted source of information will need to be demoted to 'just a buddy that says stupid shit'. Doing that could cause that person or you some stress and the relationship could suffer. That's not easy to navigate. You would be better for it and they would have less negative effect on the world because you are no longer spreading their STUPID SHIT! Like I've mentioned many times, we seek out community. Your community, in this case, consists of people that don't know how to find accurate or reliable information. If you want to find a new community we are always hiring at Stan's House of Reliable Information and Logical Thinking. You don't need much experience. You just can't blindly follow innacurate information to stupid, biased, and truly harmful conclusions.

I know you'll try to laugh this off. But you keep engaging with me. You type three words and I come back with long paragraphs. I think you enjoy my words or you wouldn't keep responding. I think I am making an impact on you and others. Thank you for the feedback. I hope your deconstruction goes well. I won't say 'I told you so'. I'll just welcome you to the side of logic and reason.

I can't decide if this is better or worse than democrats running in republican primaries to split the vote

or allowing dems to vote in republican primaries , essentially picking the candidate for that party.

however, i know that all of those methods are 100000% better than ranked choice

What’s the problem with ranked choice? It eliminates the problem of split tickets and everyone who uses it seems to be pretty fond of it compared to the norm.

three, with all due respect - I’m relatively new here but haven’t read past a sentence of your bright pink font comments. Any chance of changing it to the normal black font to draw in more viewers?
