Kilkeary and Chase went....i guess that makes up the rest of the $15,000 you were short on how much they spent to travel there....

you don't have any clue what you are talking about. you've made that abundantly clear.

Since preseason. They think Bo is going to be a bust. I said he won't be. The bet was proposed by someone else and we both took it (though they wont admit it now).

What a bad bet. He already had great wins before this preseason. People love to hate Bo.

I've never once denied the bet. Why are you so dishonest? You are just mad I won't put it in my signature, and that just shows how much of a weirdo you are.

Quickly on the topic of travel expenses, I can pretty much guarantee there are significantly discounted rates that OSU gets for sports travel (along with likely all other teams).  I have traveled for work about 3 months out of the year for the last 15 years.  The costs that were being laid out to get to anywhere close to $25,000 are ridiculous.  Rental vans aren't expensive with personal discounting.  My current rental for a higher end SUV is about $250 with tax for 10 days.  Hotel rooms outside of a major metro are usually closer to $150/night for a 2 queen bed room.  Flights for something like this would've been book WAY in advance and with a booking service to get the best possible price.  Add in the fact that they likely have a massive rate discount due to the volume that the entire athletic department books, and the costs are nowhere near your thoughts.

Any yes, having teams from different regions, especially highly ranked teams, compete against each other is a huge boost to the sport.  Attendance, attention, excitement...when I was a kid in youth sports, getting a chance to see high ranked teams was awesome even if I was rooting against them!  Heck I take my son to NCSU wrestling matches, dressed in VT gear each time, because it's great to see high level competition.  Getting more attention builds local engagement, which boosts participation.  All good things
