If true, this is exactly why we need socialized medicine. Govt reimbursing the sleazy private sector always leads to fraud. Get the grubby hands of the pvt sector out of medicine  as much as possible.

This exactly is socialized "single payer " medicine.   You are describing single provider which is not the left's holy grail of "Medicare for all".  You seem to be describing something like the military base style medical system where all the doctors and nurses and providers are military officers or medics,  sick call is from 7:45 - 8:15.  Show up, get in line,  we'll get to you when we do.  Good for a niche group of hyper healthy 18 - 28 year olds who have been highly screened.  Inappropriate for any other population.

Thats REALLY dumb, to say that a,single payer system has to be exactly like the military.

The funnier thing is that ive NEVER proposed to get rid of prisons and, actually, very few liberals have either. 

I do acknowledge that wed need more prisons in order to lock up all the scumbag wingers like id like to. We could at least recoup some of those costs by feeding them bread and water, cramming more of them into smaller cells and letting them sleep on concrete floors.

DaVik, Davik, DaVik.  Read better before slinging your kneejerk insults.  I clearly stated that single payer is the Medicare for all and Medicaid models.  Which lead to yuuuge fraud, always.  Single provider is the military model.  Less fraud but also less service, capability, etc.  Neither works well for the general public.
