Dating back to his high school days Correa has 14 collegiate wins (16 total matches) 13 of them are by fall. This kid could put up some monster numbers if he can get enough matches in college.

The fact that he is at 197 and seems to fit the weight is huge. He is SO good, and I think a potential title contender next year if he takes a jump during this greyshirt year (and actually gets some matches that go 7+ minutes)

I think he would be a podium threat by the end of this year. He had an insane amount of hype at the end of his Sophmore year/junior year and then it seemed to really die down for some reason that I do not think was correlated with results. Cornell looks like they could be rolling out a podium team next year with these freshman + who they have coming back.

I agree. I think the hype died down because of less competition/not doing much FS. But he still dominated Sahakian at WNO in his senior year. And for Cornell next year, I agree they could have a real good team over the next few years

Can Cornell have him enroll for the 2snd semester and pull his grayshirt just like other schools pull redshirts?

Let's not get ahead of ourselves here about Correa...

Michigan made the bozo move of the century recruiting over him....Sure I expect our Redshirt Heavyweight to be a top 8 guy after a year or two but Jude is on another Level and Michigan coulda had their first multi National Champion in a number of Years now.  😞
