I...as with EVERYONE on here....YES...RELEASE THE FILES!!  Why do some of you always assume people are arguing against release them...literally no one on here is against it.

On the idea of doing the mental gymnastics now in regard to Trump...why weren't some of those same mental gymnastics happening when Biden was in office in regard to the Epstein files??  And don't give me the "blah blah blah Trump ran on it crap"...if you truly feel this strongly, you would have argued for releasing the files the same as you are now.  Because guess what, me and some others on here were saying release the files the same under Biden as under Trump.

To be fair, on both of these points:

As it relates to the latest news, if Trump's name were just mentioned in some Epstein emails but was nothing burger, then yes nothing burger.   The news here is the actual content of those emails, not just that the name "trump" appears in them.

As for the files during the Biden administration, during its entirety there were cases being investigated, tried, and pending appeal, and as such the files were not in the possession of the Biden administration, but rather in the state of jurisdiction's prosecutors office.   That is no longer the situation, as the appeals process has been completed and the files are in the hands of the current President's FBI director and Attorney General.  "Sitting right on my desk" if I recall correctly....

Not sure what you are arguing...but what "actual content of those emails" points to Trump is guilty of something?  Again, if he is, prosecute him!

It's very unlikely to be enough to press charges (otherwise they already would have) but it still should be released so American voters can get an accurate picture of what he actually and likely did and more importantly the magnitude of what these corrupt wingers in DC are covering up.

Not arguing anything.   This may come as a surprise; but not everything is an argument some things are just simply sharing information. I did not say the latest recent release of emails says he is guilty, but rather “just that the news here is the actual content of the emails” (I mean, you quoted my post yourself and should be able to see what it does and does not say). 
 

As to your second paragraph, once again, I did not speak to any ‘furfur’ from anyone.  I simply addressed your question relating to the files during the previous administration. Again, you quoted me, you should be able to see what I said and did not say. 
 

Again, not everything is an argument, no need to make everything as such….

Biden had the files, knew whats in them and could have released them. 

I have no idea who knew, who didn't, or who went to his island for the wrong reasons. I am just wondering why the Biden administration would not have used them? Were they just incompetent to not use a smoking gun? Or is it something else?

I could be wrong, not even arguing for or against, but I have an honest question of why the Biden Admin didn't go after him?

Legal questions needed to be answered so takes some effort to decide what to redact. However, there's a huge demand now for the files and Trump campaigned on it so time to go through the hurdles to release everything possible.

Thats a fair point. I still find it very odd that they did not try to use it against him at all.  Can I ask this, lets say we find out that he is somehow knowingly connected. I am all for going after him. If Obama and Clinton are also tied, will you use the same anger and outrage?

There won't be ANY charges filed BECAUSE of the release. Just shed the light on everybody that was a likely pedo or knew what epatein was doing and didn't turn him in. Whoever that is. Ds included. Of course.
