U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi said the task force made over 270 arrests in the last week. That number is expected to climb.

Here's a look at data from the Memphis Police Department comparing the last two weeks:

• Sept. 22-26 — 2 homicides, 46 aggravated assaults, 72 motor vehicle thefts and 13 robberies
• Sept. 29-Oct. 3 — 2 homicides, 40 aggravated assaults, 30 motor vehicle thefts and 7 robberies

Looks like after a week, there is still work to do.   If it is true that 80% of crime is committed by very few people, when those arrested are in jail, crime numbers should go down, assuming they find those few folks.

If what the few videos above say is true, then some neighborhoods are feeling some relief.   That is good news.   BTW, that lady with the kids playing in the back yard, has some dangerous looking fingernails.   I'm just sayin'!

Interesting.   Crime has been high in these places with no promise of federal intervention.  So I don't think your idea is the reason.
