What happened on 10/7?

1) Hamas murdered Israeli civilians - war crime. Should be prosecuted and the ICC has issued warrants. 

2) The overall attack was perfectly legitimate under international law. IDF soldiers are legitimate targets of war, just like Hamas soldiers are legitimate targets.

3) It is undeniable - though mainstream Western media will take years to finally report on this - that the majority of Israeli civilians killed on 10/7 were killed by the IDF. The evidence is overwhelming. The Hamas invaders did not have the firepower to level neighborhoods and incinerate cars. That was done by Israeli tanks and helicopters as they engaged with Hamas. Civilians were caught in the crossfire. There are videos of this all over the place. There are videos of Israeli tank commanders acknowledging that they killed civilians.

Fair. "Militants" would have been a better choice of words. Doesn't really change the substance of the post though.

You don't get to commit a crime against humanity for 2 years then move on like it never happened. Gaza must be rebuilt and Palestine must be free. This is a first step towards that.
