Generally war has been over territory with the victor winning territory.   Is there any argument with this?

Hence there is nothing out of the ordinary for Israel to claim land after victories.   Russia seems to be doing it now and there is a split among people whether it should be stopped or no.    If Russia wins, then they get more territory.   That's how things have worked forever.

That's a lie. It's not the norm to always take land from whoever attacks you. Secondly, all their land grabs in the west bank have nothing to do with attacks.

Israel shouldn't even exist. UN never should have taken land fron one group and handed it over to another, based upon ethnicity/religion. Knee-jerk reaction to ww2. If we really wanted to give them land, we should have given them some of our own land. 

Heck, I'm ok with that. Give them Texas or Florida.

Ok, not saying you are right but asking:

1.   If the arabs can take the land, why is it impossible to for Israel to take land if they were attacked.   Your explanation makes it sound like if you are attacked you are not allowed to take land.   That's not how the world works.  

2.  Six day war occurred because the arabs were mobilizing against israel and Israel stopped them before they could attack.   Should they have waited for the attack they knew was coming and have people killed that didn't need to be killed?  They wiped out Syria and Egypts forces and repelled Jordanian attacks and move the Jordanians off of the west bank and claimed that as their own.   I don't see why this is an impossible thing.   Who says boundaries need to be the same after a war as they were before.   Putin obviously does not think this way.    If they gave back this land they conquered in that war, all would be ok and there would be no strife in the area right?
