I answered.  I don’t trust the r party as a whole boss.   Or the d one for that matter.  
 

i want career politicians out of office.  They’re garbage on all levels.  State.  Local.  And federal.

Sooooo.....my question asked him about parties and not specifically about one person?   I even dumbed it down for him the second time to make very clear I wasn't asking anything about parties, and particularly about one person, even going as far as explaining why I was asking him the question regarding one specific person and one specific vote....or, ehhem, no vote...to which he still struggled and responded with yet another statement about parties.

He responded, but he came nowhere close to answering the question that was asked.   But as I said to him, I get it, and there is no need to continue.
