Pretty remarkable what KD has been able to achieve with Duke and other guys, e.g. Ryder, James, others.  Just goes to show that an outstanding coach doesn't need to be a guy with a stack of medals and trophies. Some people are just really good at teaching, supporting and motivating.

Where is he located?

His dad seems like a pretty chill guy, but some of the things he says sounds like the kind of stuff people here see at youth tournaments with ultra-intense parents in the bleachers. Not really the type of motivation he'd get at PSU, which is interesting.

Saw this recently on You Tube. Love how his dad said he didn’t have alot of money so he came up with own methods of conditioning his son. Coach KD seems like a wonderful person and the parents trust him. No better sport than wrestling- period!

I turned it off when he said people were always telling him how lucky he is and he has to tell him he actually works hard. 1) They know that, 2) he is, 3) I don't believe that happens often.
