It will probably be a bloody civil war between the Islamists and the more freedom loving people.  Turkey has been undergoing this for while now.   Erdogan has pretty much succeeed in changing the Ataturk model of governance to a more islamist model of governance. And the people keep voting him in or he keeps messing with the vote so he wins.  Probably the latter.  I imagine Iran will stay islamist, they have a long history of decades in that mode.   It may not be as hardline if this regime falls, but I think it will not be free as we think of it.  But free-er maybe.

Turkey hadn't been as bold about trying to kill Israelis. 

There have been some...incredibly courageous Iranian people protesting in the streets ALREADY in the past and... pushing, protesting that Govt'. 

 

I could actually see it fall back to moderates far-far easier than Syria, Turkey or almost any other Country. Maybe the "White Revolution 2.0."
