Should L.A. Really be hosting the 2028 Olympics? There seems to be security issues. There are a few fire issues. There are a few peaceful riot issues.

With the security issues, the wildfires and the air quality. They get an F from the American Lung Association. According to the AQMD L.A. s the worst in the nation in air quality. Oh and I forgot they have a few peaceful riot issues.

Funny how the wingers want to attack efforts to maintain air quality (major cuts to EPA air regulatory program coming) and carbon emissions but then want to rip on places that are impacted by poor air quality because they have a high population density.

The hypocrisy of the wingers on display once again....

You do realize California has some strictest regulations on soil, air and water in the country. Especially air. quality. California is the only state with a waiver under the federal Clean Air Act. Which allows it to set stricter vehicle emission standards. I couldn't imagine runners in the marathon in the city. Over 2 hours sucking all that in your lungs.

Point is that wingers are in favor of cutting air quality standards, while you bash LA for having poor air quality. That's hypocrisy.

It's standard practice for states to have more stringent standards for pretty much anything they want They are allowed to do this pretty much across the board as long as it doesn't otherwise violate federal law.

They can be in favor of purple giant totem poles.   It doesn’t matter.  The fact is Cali has the strictest regulations.   Don’t be silly.  Use your brain.

They could deport a few million (illegal) drivers.

Maybe deport a few politicians wouldn't hurt. That would improve the air quality.

WA dept of ecology is supposed to report the results of all the state climate activity and minimizing of CO2 results every two years.   They haven't and were sued.   The judge said the person who sued has no standing.   Well, he lives in WA, this is info is mandated by law, but he has no standing to get and understand the data.   CA is probably the same.   Fires and tires and lithium ion batteries burn, but no one cares.   Because it's all ok if it is for the right cause.

Protecting criminal illegal aliens from deportation is the right cause.   Simply amazing the illogic of the left.

I wonder what the neighbors think when someone starts a fire pit cook out in their back yard in southern California?

They might be a little afraid they might lose their house. But they are Ok with the protestors starting the car bomb fires!
