Sort of a dumb post considering we're still 3.5 yrs from presidential election. Plenty of candidates will  emerge, and some of them will be solid. Personally, I've liked Buttegieg, but a lot of moderate bigots won't vote for him simply because he's homosexual.

Two things I can almost guarantee, and it is very bad news for the wingers. 1) We'll have  a Democrat  in white house in 2028, unless the wingers can drastically escalate their voter suppression tactics. 2) He/she will be a lot nastier than Biden or Obama were. Maybe just as nasty, radical and polarizing as Trump. Get ready; it's going to be a wild ride.

Shocking that they’d write an article about it so far out huh?   Btw isn’t there a thing called mid terms coming up?  I guess having a leader giving direction doesn’t matter for those. And dems wonder why?

Mid-terms are state and local elections. Don't need "national" leaders for those. Are you saying there aren't even any leaders at the state or local levels? That would be a complete joke. of a statement.

Didn't completely read the article because I don't care too much. I"ll admit that the Republicans are much better strategists than the Democrats. They know what to say and when to say it, how to get the dark money rolling in, and they are 100% unified. They'll back Satan himself if he's a Republican.

Sounds like you agree that republicans have a message from the top down while Dems don’t.  If it doesn’t matter with the local elections why is tampon Timmy Walz running around the country trying to create one???

Republicans are more organized, unified and strategic than the Democrats.

No, I don't necessarily agree that a "national leader" is going to make a significant difference in local elections. I'm not a political scientist though, so whatever. Democrats have been crushing Republicans in these elections since Trump took office so it can't be helping them that much anyway.

Unified and strategic because of common messaging from the top down.  Yep

They're toeing the Trump line. Like good little lackeys. Yep.

They have leaders, the real problem is the majority of voters consider them all to be idiots. Tampon Tim thinks he's the front runner.

That empty shell of a human Aoc too.

And they win because of it.

Actually they've been consistently losing battleground elections this year. Lack of leadership must be a good thing for democrats.

They're still stealing seats with illegal immigrants.

Illegal immigrants are counted as citizens in the census? Interesting. Didn't know that.

Texas and Florida are gaining electoral college votes.

Blue states (including California and NY) are losing them for 2028.

Right now it looks like the wingers will lose most if not all of the battleground states anyway, so this won't even come close to making up for that.

The electoral college is impacted by numbers of residents in each state: citizens and non-citizens.  the census does not distinguish between legal and illegal residents in their count.

Yes.

OK; I see that. That's too bad and I don't think that should happen, but doesn't look like they are allowed to vote anyway so not sure if this makes much of a difference.

Why bus millions of illegals over a 4 year period to blue states then?

The only possible reason for any bussing to blue states MUST be so they can illegally vote. Duh.

And add electoral college votes.

The winger conspiracy theories are a dime a dozen. Unreal.

You just literally acknowledged illegal aliens are counted in the census ….   And subsequently can add to the electoral college votes a state can get.

Yes, but to say that the primary reason they sometimes get bussed to blue states is to add to their electoral votes is whack-job stuff. You guys are looney to the max.
