I didn’t deny either of those things.

Although “direct involvement” with MAU is a stretch.  He spoke during one virtual session.

And was featured on their website.

You’re really grasping at straws. Even if he was “directly involved,” are you saying only Democrats would help Africans immigrate to the US?  I thought the right was OK with legal immigrants. Just not illegal ones.

I don't think many are for bringing in dependent people and giving them a bunch of free stuff at the expense of the taxpayers.

I thought all repubs were racist.  I know this cause the libs like to say that a lot.  If they’re all racist then why would they help the Africans do anything ?

This is my point.  I wouldn’t assume someone that helps Africans is a lib.  That’s weird.

Some, sure.  Most, no.  But they’re not my “comrades”

Do you not have a lot of democrat friends ?

According to a 2018 SurveyMonkey poll reported by Axios, 61% of Democrats described Republicans as "racist/bigoted/sexist" axios.com. More recently, a 2024 YouGov survey found that 54% of Democrats characterized the Republican Party as "racist"

What a terrible way to word that question in that survey.  Seems like someone would select that answer if they thought any 1 of the 3 options

But don’t they really all go together?  I’ve seen it on anti Trump repub posters at their ralleys.    I mean once you jump in one bucket why not jump in all 3 right?

6 of 10 Ds think this to be true.  Hard for me to believe you not to have friends that blindly think that.

Like I said, the way the question is phrased would probably say yes if it’s one or the other.

And I’m not sure I’d think an online survey of 3k would be representative of the country anyway.

This is typical sample size.
