Of course couples can work through this stuff. But given his first public statement, where he dragged in Jesus and the Bible as a shield, like Jesus is some sort of doormat to clean your feet (or something else), I'd say he's off the rocker. And the quote he chose (1 Peter 4: 17 -18) is a very odd pick. Who's the Pastor that advised that one?
