Great question, no idea, did it?

I was (potentially incorrectly) under the assumption that sweeping that under the rug was what killed ASU funding by driving away their biggest donor.

Those in the know, if I am spouting horsesh*t, please correct me.

You're not wrong.

Going to Final X and want to see Snyder there.....innocent until proven guilty.

"legally innocent", for now.

The record paints a very different picture, though not the lousy one some of the news headlines are trumpeting. He is a John & got caught. He isn't running a string of call girls, unless there is a lot more to the story that has not yet been made public.

Husband & father who cheats & lies.

Still, a damned good wrestler.

He has lots of company there.  No excuse, but many are in the same situation.

safesport and most governments don't have the libertarian attitude on prostitution re: consenting adults. it's generally considered adjacent to trafficking and coercion. you think you want a firm hand until it's not the hand you're paying for that grabs you.

I think we see Dake at 79KG for this year only. He's chasing legacy medals now.

and obviously scared of Justin Rademacher at 97kg

Judge just OKed Snyder's plea to a lesser charge. Disorderly conduct/fourth degree misdemeanor, $250 fine + forfeiture of his $160 at the hotel, and he's already taken the John School course. I'm guessing that unless there's some surprising findings, SafeSport will clear his temporary suspension in due time.
