Wow, RV actually paying Trump a compliment here.   He sent Professionals to negotiate with China, resulting in a 90 day pause on tariffs to a much more reasonable level.   This a is very interesting development.

Yes nice job by Trump to step aside and see his incompetence. The less involved he is, the better for all of us.

Yep he is so incompetent that he fielded pros to negotiate (called delegation) while he took care of the other affairs of state.   Funny how you think a President controls every aspect of everything that goes on in an administration.   He usually gives his conditions and delegates the work out.   You think you are dissing but actually paying a backhanded compliment to Trump and his leadership qualities.

Is a surge like tanking?

It's gonna tank again. Watch. There's still huge uncertainty until or unless we get a permanent agreement. Shipping costs will soar during the 90 day pause to make up for the recent weeks and the uncertainty of 90 days from now, on top of the residual tariffs so prices will continue to increase.

Today was an overreaction. Big time.

Stocks are a form of gambling. There is always risk. You get to choose the amount of risk. Some people take huge risks in gambling and in the stock market. Sometimes it works. Some people are a little more conservative (low risk) when they gamble and in the stock market. My portfolio seems to weather these uncertain market fluctuations pretty well. For some it's been painful. For some it's really painful.' You made the choice.

Yep, it’s called the casino for the rich.  Little effect has been made by tariffs, but the market trades on emotion.  If anything tanks, it’ll be the bond market if Congress doesn’t shave the 2+ trillion deficit they are devising for the next year’s budget.

The winger congress won't trim jack squat. They'll increase the deficit instead.

Didn't Swalwell have a girlfriend (for several years) that was a Chinese spy while he was in Congress.

And on top of that, remember that s&p outperforms general stock market. Hope you can figure out why that is.
