I might do something like...

Tier 1 - Penn State (1)
Tier 2 - EMPTY
Tier 3 - Lehigh (15)
Tier 4 - Penn (21), Pitt (19)
Tier 5 - Drexel (32), Lock Haven(38), Bucknel (35)
Tier 6 - Edinboro(51)
Tier 7 - Franklin & Marshal (72), Clarion (74)
Tier 8 - EMPTY
Tier 9 - Bloomsburg (79)

To me, if you're a tier above or below, someone, you should expect a good dual.  There isn't a team coming close to Penn State.  This would have been for this last year.

Let's see what Pablo Team rankings has

1) Penn St

12) Lehigh

20) Penn

21) Pitt

29) Lock Haven

41) Bucknell

45) Drexel

58) Edinboro

64) Clarion

74) Franklin&Marshall

78) Bloomsburg

It's pretty consistent with your tiers, but

a) Lock Haven is distinct from Bucknell/Drexel, and Pablo likes them more

b) Clarion is more like Edinboro than F&M

I wouldn't put in a separate tier between F&M and Bloomsburg; F&M is a lot closer to Bloomsburg than Lehigh is to Penn St (Pablo has F&M over Bloomsburg 27 - 11; PSU over Lehigh is like 36 - 4)

Lehigh's program seems to lack ambition.  Satisfied with two or three All Americans and not much else.

Lehigh does quite well at continuing wrestling tradition in a difficult environment for them only getting more difficult by the year...........if you look at the top twenty how many are private institutions with under 30,000 undergrads? Lehigh has 5,800 undergrads.........so figure they graduate around 1,450 students a year..........their competitors are graduating 10,000 students a year or more in many cases...........think of the dollar difference in alumni donations (although Lehigh grads tend to do quite well)........plus admissions holds wrestlers to a higher standard than many of their competitors do for admission.........makes recruiting that much more difficult.......

the wrestling program is very well funded, has great facilities including LVWC and a solid if aging fan base.......and yes I'm a Lehigh alum, but am very proud of the wrestling tradition the university has managed to maintain.......but to expect Lehigh to do much more in the NIL era dollar wise is not realistic.......Lehigh cannot "buy" a team like the huge state schools........it's not lack of ambition it's the reality of the numbers........

They’d probably get shut out, unfortunately.

That seems unlikely.  PSU wrestled duals against Drexel and Lehigh and failed to shut out either individually.  Also Lehigh's 125 reversed a result from that dual at the NCAA tournament.

Not sure if this was asked, but….Who was the last PA team to beat PSU in a dual?

Lehigh right at the start of the Cael era
