Here are the numbers as I understand them:

Oklahoma State and Michigan made slightly big offers to Rocco. Iowa did not make an offer.

PSU gave him $600k over 3 years. OSU was around $250k a year and Michigan a little less but higher than PSU.

I presume he would get in state tuition at PSU - but not sure at Ok State and Michigan.  Is tuition getting covered as part of the new settlement and 30 roster limit?  I doubt it but do not know.

I assume NIL is all taxable income - so after state and federal income tax (might also be local county income tax) and after paying college costs, this is not any kind of huge windfall.

Let me guess, you also believe Welsh really didn't have any contact with PSU before entering the portal and Willie saying "PSU done deal" was just a lucky guess.

Thanks. Did they give you a sense of the structure? There are some here who think it is a bag of cash and some who have speculated that it is a package of things like tuition, room, board, car lease, cash, etc. that can be assigned values that add up to the headline number.

Scholarship $$ not included but psu spreads their money around a lot so that isn’t substantial. That’s all I have on the topic unfortunately. It would be interesting to see how they are structured.

Basch is the PSU. PR team.  He is completely biased and you can tell he coaches the PSU kids that come on his show what to say and uses leading questions strategically.

With that being said - his shows are really great if you can looks past the blatant homerism.  Particularly the Basch and the brain show with Willie (again you have to get past Willies arrogance) but very informative much better than Flo
