Agree. It was cool to see Keckeisen applauding McEnelly after narrowly beating him, then applauding Starocci after losing to him.  I think he also might be the only top opponent that Starocci never disparages and is so quick to compliment.

Regarding Gable, I was a little worried when he didn't show up on the award stand at first.  They were halfway thru the awards when Gable comes jogging out just in time for his runner-up award and gave props to Wyatt. Respect.

I feel Carter may have also had nice things to say about Kem, but that was a long time ago!

The only one I can think of off the top of my head was when he thought he beat Nick Lee but then they changed the result after the match was over (and people want to change college to freestyle…), I think it was 10-10 but don’t remember the specifics of the match

Lee had criteria due to a caution and 1 on Bartlett, but the caution was mistakenly put on Lee's score so the scoreboard was incorrect leading the ref to raise the wrong hand. When they realized the scoring error they corrected it.

Drowning in data, but thirsting for knowledge

Carter actually posted a very nice comment when Kemerer retired. Also, kind of foreshadowed what Kemerer would do with McEnelly up at Minnesota.

the freeks are the single best wrestling shoe ever made...period.

You’re so wrong you don’t even know it. Rulons are the best shoe ever made

Im not, and ill break down why

yes the rulons had great grip but the unisole model made it harder, than the freeks split sole design, to push off your toes. Not saying its impossible, just that the design was there to make it easier.

they breathe better than the rulons.

third, they have an extra layer of padding around the ankle. rulons have NO ankle support other than the shoe goes above it. point freek

fourth, and most importantly. aside from a couple extremely rare samples, there is no rulon 2. they tried to replicate it with the aggressors and the quality of the shoe, the soles specifically, took a HUGE hit. Every reiteration of the freek has not dropped in quality at all. the shoe is the same as it was when it was first released

First round of aggressors to come out were pretty decent. After it was bad

You don't beat guys like Brock Hardy or Jesse Mendez 2x in a season if your heart isn't into it.

RBY admitted that his heart wasn't completely into it during his bonus year and he ran through almost everyone.
