When do the coaches step in?

Watching the Parco match, would've it been better for the wrestler if the coaches stepped in and stopped it. He was obviously gutting it out but he was hurting. Is it really in his best, long term, interest to continue?

It’s his last year, leave it up to the athlete unless it’s a head or neck injury.

He trained his whole life for that tournament, whose supposed to decide for him when he shouldn't wrestle anymore. Head or Neck as was stated above.

Don't think that was Brands call.  DeSanto just tapped out of a cradle and laid on the mat literally crying saying he couldn't go.  He was done regardless of what Brands said.
