Watching BIG, the portal mercenaries are not doing all that well.

Let’s be honest, how often have year 6 or later guys been as effective as earlier in there careers? Guys like Eierman and Teemer physically fell apart. Micic wasn’t effective at 141 at all. Has anyone wrestled there best season in year 6?

Coby Seibrecht did good at B12, so some mercenaries actually pay off

I don't know that Eierman "fell apart." He had one injury, which happened in a match as he was scrambling.

I think OKST and IOWA having to peak that last week for the Dual, and trying to sustain that high intensity level thru to the conf tourneys, had a negative effect
