Or you really just want to keep deflecting to social security, which your side is too cowardly to cut anyway? We've known about ss fraud for several decades now btw.

The no-show job has long played a central role in the annals of crime and corruption

United States v. Mangano (2025): Edward Mangano, former Nassau County Executive, and his wife, Linda Mangano, were convicted in a public corruption case. Linda Mangano received approximately $100,000 annually for a no-show job provided by businessman Harendra Singh, in exchange for Edward Mangano's official influence.

Making up a fake company is a lot different than making up a fake person.  How exactly would one pull this off?  Wouldn’t these imaginary people have supervisors, so they’d need to be in on it?

shawshank

how hard is it to get an ID?

how hard is it to get a SSN for illegals etc etc

Conservatives:  most government workers (well the ones that aren’t patriots) are worthless and won’t be able to get a job outside of the government

Also conservatives: never underestimate the ability of government employees to pull off a highly sophisticated scam

stick around, you will find many grifters who if they worked half as hard at an actual job, as they do trying not to work... they could really be something

I couldn’t give 10 flying farks about that.  My tax dollars don’t pay their salary.  My tax dollars pay for federal state and local government corruption…..

Doesn't help you get a federal job and then keep it without doing any work.

Zero. They were simply doing work that corrupt billionaires don't like.

I also think it's funny that the wingers think that all these "fake" federal workers just happen to be in the agencies that they don't like. What an amazing coincidence.

Another deflection. Wow you guys are on a teflon party today. Low performing workers is a completely different subject. And I agree that it should be easier to fire bad performers from govt.

Are there illegals working for the federal government with fraudulent ID?  And the jobs illegals are working…they’re actually working.  Again, I don’t think Elon really thinks there’s more than 10 or so “fake” people.  I think he wants to use people’s responses and run it through Grok to determine if it thinks they’re valuable, and if not, fire them.  But that’s what people were upset about in the first place, so he backtracked to “I just want to prove they’re real!”

What if federal workers never showed up for work and no one missed them?

You wingers made the claim. Onus is on u. How does a "fake person" beat out others in the interview process and then get his supervisor to cover for him/her and also take responsibility for the work they are not doing?

Yes, every federal worker has assigned job duties and their work is tracked and several others at the agencies and public depend upon them to do their jobs.

leftists: we must fire people who don't submit to the vax

also leftists: how dare you fire people who don't do a job or are doing a job that doesn't need to be done on the taxpayer dime
