Wild that one of Pyles excuses for Sealey getting whooped by Cannon was that “he just watched his high school teammate get pinned” 😭😭😭

That is just a dumb comment. Only a non athlete would think like that.

Hasn’t he barely competed in like 2 years?  To me it seemed like combo of a tough cut primarily with some nerves

He looked like a guy who needs to transfer to a D2 or D3 school to me.

The camera action on the BTN did not show the first few seconds of period three to illustrate how Davis got off bottom. I am guessing he got to his knees and stood up peeled hands and turned back in but that is just a guess. Last year he hit several switches from bottom and maybe between him and Lilledahl they might work on that tactic.

Other than the occasional High School match that gets featured don't follow that much.  Checked his PA wrestling profile.  Wrestled 20 matches last year and 33 the year before.

I guess I was more counting this year and last.  20 is more than I thought, but still below average for a typical HS senior

A reminder that the greatest 125 of all time Spencer Freakin Lee was pinned multiple times in his college career by guys that never won a NCAA title.

Mean Gene called and wants a wrestle off.

This. It gave me the vibe that after Kasak went down, they gave Sealy the opportunity to make 157. As he hasn't competed or had any weigh-ins recently, he looked like a guy that dropped 20 pounds pretty quickly and had no energy. He's good, make no mistake about it, but I'm guessing he was sucked out and dehydrated.

Mirasola looks like a 184 pounder.

He looks way bigger than he did last summer. Give him another year of putting on size and adjusting to wrestling with the big boys and he'll be just fine.

He looked like a total zero out there. He didn't even generate the threat of an offense and got ridden like a donkey on Lent. He didn't look like a typical PSU wrestler to me, usually even guys off their bench give a decent performance.

I can't believe PSU's backup 157 pounder was so soft.

Holy McCrone Turn!

To be fair, I said I was asking genuinely because I couldn't recall him turning during matches I have watched.

But I knew someone was going to bring it up. Touché 😂
