How in the world did the government spending get so far off the tracks? In less than a month Elon will and his 20 year olds will pry 1 trillion dollars out of the politicians cold dead hands. will

You’ll giggle at this.  But it’s that snooty leftist attitude that lost y’all the election.   People are tired of gov corruption.   It’s also in theory why your railing against musk now as if the dems ran a better campaign none of this would be happening now.

I mean y’all couldn’t out vote hitler a guy who would end democracy…. And a guy who would not allow you to vote ever again.  Or so I was told.   Pretty hard to lose to that guy no?

What do the Ukraine media outlets say about Tucker Carlson?

What does the UK Zinc Network say about Vivek Ramaswamy?

Does the US media pick up the stories from those groups?

Expand

No, I don’t think the US media gets their stories from other countries, unless maybe the story is about those countries…

Funny that you bring up Tucker Carlson here when the dude made a video on groceries in Russia that even the Russian government-funded media company said “felt too much like overt shilling” when they were funding other American conservative social media personalities like Benny Johnson and Tim Pool.

The direct link to content funding for Politico and domestic others are debunked.

How might Politico, etc. maintain a positive relationship with some of their biggest subscribers, paying $8M annual?

I voted for Trump.  I didn’t vote for Elon Musk, although I knew he was going to be involved and it was one of my biggest concerns.  I am in favor of the idea of DOGE, but it seems like it in practice it has been very partisan.  It will also likely lead to the tanking of our economy.  Some may argue that needs to happen for the long term, but I’d bet many that voted for Trump don’t feel that way.

Politico - the money was for subscriptions rather than content creation.

BBC - money was through its charitable arm, BBC Media action which operations independently from BBC News.

That is correct.  You’re claiming this statement was debunked?

I claimed the link between USAID directly funding Politico content creation was debunked.

USAID influences what content is made available through its subscriptions.

USAID funds groups that influence content creation as well.

Are you saying because government organizations (including ones that aren’t “left-wing” such as the office of the President from 2017-2020)  purchase subscriptions to PoliticoPro, that is “influencing” the content the Politico news organization produces to be biased for the left?

My overall claim is that citizens (left and right) should be skeptical of the media, recognize media propaganda from all biases, and and that the media is heavily influenced by the government.

The ethical should be thankful for DOGE's mission and progress.

We should question what inside of us is supporting to undermine the greater good to rapidly reduce wasteful spending.

I’m really thankful that a *I poop my pants, don't laugh at me*load of kids have died of starvation or been doomed to an early death from AIDS because of DOGE.

Totes.

Also, your boy JD Vance just let this little gem out. As I predicted, it appears Trump/Musk have no plans to obey any court orders.

It is sad that the parents, families, and communities are failing to directly care for the kids in their own country.

It is good if America recognizes First things First, America comes first.

A good tour of a developing country should inspire local support before foreign support.

How are refugees who have been forced from their homes supposed to care for their kids, oh wise one? They have nothing. Literally nothing.

I went to high school with a kid from Sudan. He and his two sisters were the only surviving kids of eight children. His older brother got hacked to death with a machete. He had multiple burns on his lower legs from where his captors had tortured him with a red hot machete blade. Several of his younger siblings died from starvation. But hey,

Also, let’s not pretend that Republicans give a *I poop my pants, don't laugh at me* about food insecurity in America. Republican states regularly vote to kill programs providing meals to students in need. We can easily take care of our own, but choose not to. And those pesky red states lead the way there. Just like they do in overall obesity, child mortality, mother mortality, and pretty much every other bad health outcome.

I don’t think the 2 year olds dying of starvation care where the food come from, bro.

But I’m glad this is funny to you. You’re a really classy guy.

The USA located refugee warrants similar help to local citizens...

Stepping back, there is no moral duty to help those globally without satisfactory addressing local issues first.

Taking care of your own before you take care of others is as natural as it comes.

At what point does aiding those in global need get outweighed by local economic constraints?

So you don’t think we should be “prioritizing” bringing white South Africans here?

Framing Republicans unfairly ignores that they give more to charity than Dems, and that both give a good amount.  You might also not understand that they want to help those that want to help themself.  They also support welfare with tighter conditions.

Once the Sudanese kid arrived in America, the R wants to quickly provide the education and therapy necessary for integration and to help them build a life different from the one they experienced growing up.  Or eventually relocate if they choose not to integrate.

From what I'm witnessing, it seems the D wants the education and therapy but also Americans change their culture to accept the Sudan culture into its own.  And if that refugee never became self-reliant, they'd continue welfare indefinitely.

Just stereotyping here...

If our country is to spend money, it should enabling those to take care of their own people.

Having one's kids die from starvation is a strong motivator to get "it" together.

--------

How many kids are dying in Sudan each year? (80K under 5)

Now how many unborn are killed each year in the USA? (1M under 1)

How many USA kids are food insecure? (9M)

How many kids in the USA grow up without fathers? (18M)

How much money does the USA have to spend (less than -2T)
