Davis is the interesting ome. With his win over #7 Bailey does that put a floor of #6 on him in spite of the loss to a much lower ranked Van Dee?

That is essentially what happened with Ventresca and Spratley last week at 125.

Drowning in data, but thirsting for knowledge

Barr 4 no change

Kerk 2 no change

Kerkvliet has to be annoyed. Unbeaten NCAA champ last year, unbeaten this year with all wins coming by fall or techfall, and still ranked under Steveson who skipped 2 complete years.

This is my 2025 wrestling hot take. A HWT title is not a guarantee for Gable in March.

Maybe its Van Dee raised his game a level?

I think he's the biggest lock in the field.  None of the other heavyweights will score an offensive point on him.  He might beat Kerk or Hendrickson by 5 or 6 points but they won't be close to upsetting him

Maybe his style just works well against Davis. Maybe it's a combination of both style and improving. He sure looked good vs Davis though and it didn't look like a fluke either.
