His schedule actually looks harder than last year.  He only had 3 wins over guys ranked in wrestlestat’s top 20 last year (Allred, Joles, Jaxon Smith).

This year he has split with Voelker, and IMO I wouldn’t have expected him to beat Stout or Salazar

The main concerning result is against Bates, who he majored last year and lost 8-2 to this year.

Yes, being in a new room and with new coaches have stalled Glazier's progress since he isn't under the tutelage of the great Brands Brothers on a daily basis

I just wanted to know if he was hurt. I think his stall may  have started last March under Brands Bros.

I would have expected him to beat Stout or Salazar based on his results from last year (well, prior to NCAAs). The loss to Bates is very eye opening.

Maybe he's adjusting to the new room. Maybe this is who he was all along. Or maybe the Brands were able to bring the best out of him. I'm biased, so I lean towards the last option but I think it is notable that it seems like all the Iowa out-transfers are performing worse this year (except for Riggins, who sucked it up at 184 last year)

Bates is extremely good and comes from the same HS as Lucas and Andrew Davidson and Seth Mendoza (Before going to Mt. Carmel)

Nagao is actually injured, a level above "hurt".

"Supposedly." Elsewhere on this board, it has been suggested by the PSU faithful that he is good to go, but they are manipulating the med shirt rules.

But I was talking more about how he tanked under the PSU tutelage last year.

Tanked.

Shyte.  Maybe the brands can coach?    Who knows.  I hear they’re super awful lol

It's because of workout partners. Do you think mini-mite Brands boys are going hands on with 197 pounders like Glazier?

He doesn't have any decent workout partners pushing him.

Too bad he doesn't have a good 184 lber on the team to workout with. Or two coaches that were NCAA champions in his weight class.
