Does anyone know anything about this?  I live in the St. Louis area and just got an email about the meet.  It hasn't been publicized very well.  Is Iowa going to send their starters?  It just seems strange for Iowa to have a home dual meet at a St. Louis area high school.

What I've read is that it's a community outreach type thing - trying to spark wrestling interest in an area that doesn't have much of it.

You should go if you can. Should be an entertaining event. Iowa is expected to have all it's starters, minus Jacori, competing

Timely thread.  I was going to go to CKLV but now I should have just enough time to book a flight to STL.

Hell I only live 25 minutes from Howell.  I knew nothing about it.  Francis Howell and the whole area has a pretty rich history of wrestling.  Sammie Henson went to high school at Howell.

There were lots of tickets remaining last i heard.   Seems like they didn't spread the word very good about this event.

Thanks for bringing that point out.  Purlers wrestled right down the road at Wentzville.  This area was once a pretty big hotbed of wrestling in Mo.  St Charles West wasn't too shabby.  Still an occasional stud pops up from this area.

We just had another one in Luke Lilledahl but he decided to move to Pennsylvania and go to Wyoming Seminary.  Worked out good for him but he would have been great wherever he went to high school.  St. Charles would have been nice though

Luke wrestled 1 high school season in Mo, not for Howell, but for CBC winning the title over NC State Commit Dreagon Orine of Seckman who had beat him earlier in the season. Dreagon also spent time at Sem but moved back for his SR year.

Has it been explained in another forum why MAM hasn't been wrestling for Princeton?
