I believe even the girl on the same team that’s suing says she lived with Fleming for months before realizing she was trans.   I agree she shouldn’t be playing, but those calling it a “safety issue” are reaching IMO.  She seems to be above average, but that’s about it.  If her participating is a safety issue then it’s also a safety issue for Carter Starocci and Gable Steveson to still have eligibility also.

I don't really see why anyone cares that much. As far as the NCAA is concerned, she meets the criteria to be eligible to play. If people are upset, take it up with the NCAA. They made the rules. And honestly, I am just tired of hearing about this crap. Who cares if somebody is transgender or not? I don't.

I think you’re missing the point.  I don’t think anyone cares if he is transgender.  Go ahead.  It’s fine.

Women.  Don’t want to compete against men.   It’s a safety issue.   They also don’t want to see wangs in the female locker room.    Would your daughters want to see big ol wangs in the locker room?    Mine wouldn’t.

By insisting on saying “he,” seems like you care.

If it's a safety issue then why didn't anyone say anything or care 2 years ago?

For the record.  No one cares he’s a she.  In that regard.  Have fun.  Love life.  Who cares.   People care that he wants to compete with the women….. That’s all……     And that has gone to far imo.

on some level this is why the Ds lost the election.  Their crazy woke ideology went way too far.   There are news people saying it’s ok if someone like Floyd mayweather hypothetically wanting to fight women….  If he decided to be a she

As was posted earlier.  It appears no one competing knew he was a he until earlier this year.

Sounds like you've never played sports. Trust me, especially in college, you know everything. Hell even if you aren't on the team but have close friends who are, you know things about their teammates. An old acquaintance played D1 ball and even though he eventually got booted out of school, twice, the stuff he let us non athletes in on would have ruined the football program if it ever got out. So yes I'm pretty sure they knew about their teammate being transgender, but until it became politically expedient, nobody cared. It wasn't like she was the sole reason they were winning.

Which has what to do with this exactly? Is this person also an illegal immigrant?

You don't have a problem with aliens breaking our immigration rules but you think all should be forced to follow NCAA rules.  You don't see the hypocrisy in that?  Moreover pretty sure individuals and teams are well within the rules by choosing not to compete in an event.

Our immigration rules are much different, more complex and have a lot of places where things aren't clear. Which is why we have judges in ICE court who decide things like removals on a case by case basis. I've helped people successfully avoid being deported, even though there was definitely enough cause to do so. Also if somebody walks across the border and immediately surrenders to BP and is asking for asylum, then that is not illegal. So you have to determine what would compel somebody to do something desperate like that. Did you know that if you have even a halfway competent attorney, you can delay removal proceedings for years, be able to claim legal status, work legally, etc while appealing your removal? I've had other ones where I thought it was a slam dunk where we would win and the judge ruled against us. Not for lack of trying. Sometimes it just doesn't go your way. But most of the time I've helped on cases, we've been pretty successful. So short answer, the laws concerning ICE are not exactly black and white. The NCAA rules are very clear though.

Omg I can't think of a less important topic than transgenders in men's sports. 1) There are very few of them and 2) it's just sports.

An obvious deflection by wingers from more important issues facing our great nation.

Even after the election people still think biological men playing woman sports it isn't a big deal...LOL...reason no. 54 why the D's lost this election so bad, they clearly aren't listening to the majority of Americans.
