Most likely four timer at each weight in my own opinion (with some of them being particularly unlikely):
125: Luke Lilledahl
133: Ben Davino
141: Aden Valencia
149: Kannon Webster
157: Grigor Cholakyan
165: Braeden Scoles
174: Lorenzo Norman
184: Angelo Ferrari
197: Cody Merrill
285: Jim Mullen

Next year: 133/141: Blaze
157/165: PJ Duke

I think those two could win 133 and 157 this year, as high school seniors.

After Dustin Schlatter won as a freshman in 2006 there was a three year dry spell (2007, 2008, 2009) before Dake came along.

Before that, between Mark Branch in 1994 and Cael Sanderson in 1999 there was a four year dry spell (1995, 1996, 1997, 1998).

The biggest gap, where freshmen were continuously eligible, was between Ed Banach and Matt Reiss in 1980 and Pat Smith in 1990.

Imagine if Brent Metcalf would have been able to wrestle his true freshman year at the 2006 tournament. Would have made things really interesting.

true but since they're going to Penn State, who is to say if they can even crack the starting lineup 🤪

Some other options to consider: 184- Sinclair, McEnelly 197- Mirasola, HWT- Kueter

Kueter?  He didn't win last year.  Plus, would have to beat Kerk and/or Steveson this year just to be in the running for a 3Xer

Craig Henning got screwed in the 2007 NCAA Finals.

The list is the most likely 4xer's in college right now. Kueter is the most accomplished freshman so I think he has the best shot. The Gable dilemma is the going to be tough for all these guys to crack obviously. I don't see Kueter or anyone beating Gable but we are talking about the greatest probability. Kueter redshirted last year. This same principle can be applied to many weight classes.

I think a heavyweight in redshirt this year like Hopke or Mirisola stands a far greater chance of being a 4 timer than Ben Keuter.

Did he still get in under the minimum matches?  Wow, I didn't realize that.

Exactly. The probability can be both small and largest at the same time.

That is a good point. The reality of Gable being involved probably makes a redshirt the best choice.

Yes sir, he used his allotted redshirt matches but was not used for the postseason.
