NIL Question

Shhh...Not as far as you know.

At some point, this may be a point of contention that’ll be swooped up by lawyers for a class action lawsuit. If a taxpayer funded, public university has employees enriching student athletes, a disgruntled group could file suit claiming unfair treatment. I mean, why shouldn’t the left handed underwater basket weavers get nil deals at public universities? I’m being a smart but that’s how things snowball

I have another question. Are NIL pots general (where the schools decide which sports get the money) are are they sport-specific?

he who has the NIL $ would control if it is a multisport pot or sport-specific - pretty sure both are out there

Do university staff, coaches, admin or other folks help with NIL deals for athletes?

Why can't say a member of the Dairy Judging Team dip into the same NIL pot?  This is udderly ridiculous, who do you think selects the cows for the Chick-fil-A commercials?

The school does not decide. The NIL payer decides. And they have made every decision under the sun.

Shouldn't you be watching swimming or something?  🏊‍♂️
