New Rule for Penn State?

Recommended Posts

Watching a few of the Penn State matches and am sure NCAA will come out with a new rule for them. Must have at least 2 headgear in reserve matside for each wrestler.

PSU doesn't use Lung Time Outs - they have the headgear trick.

So the joke used to be when a guy untied his shoes to get a breather, it was called a "Big 8 break". Now we have the "Penn State break". 😁

Screw with the snap. Stretch the bracing pieces - whatever it takes to get a minute or more of rest while talking with your coach and sipping a martini matside.

Idk. It looks like they are playing a different sport than everybody else. They make stuff that's hella hard look like they are drilling. Yesterday, Brooks was running a middle school style bar-half. I thought Stieber freakish when he did it on light weights. Wtf.

That said: why wasn't Davis stalling when he was burying his head while Deaugustino was digging in underhooks?

Btw that inside trip attempt was ..  ummm "ill-advised"(?) If would have been cool- looking if it worked, I guess. But that put the circus in crazymfncircusmove.

Honestly I was yelling at him through my tv just like I do to our high school wrestlers when they pull stuff like that... it's maddening when he has to know that wasn't going to work and instead of bailing out he just goes to his back...

I forget who it was yesterday but one wrestler was interviewed after overtime and he just said "Ive learned things like a good sprawl can win matches" it's so true but people still go for these crowd pleasers sometimes when it doesn't take anything outside of the basics to win...

I say this as I lay on my couch nursing a sore neck from sleeping on it wrong...
