Great match, hopefully Caliendo learned something about dealing with Hamiti's unusual length.  Hamiti is a ton of fun to watch, pretty unique.

Hamiti and Caliendo was electric. Hamiti Has such a fun style and doesn’t stop shooting. Never seen him much but I am now a fan!

I’ll tell you one thing you can tell he spends some time in the weight room. He’s built like a brick chithouse. Probably benching 315 like it was nothing. Just like in boxing and MMA guys with lots of muscle tire earlier than most because of how taxing it is on cardio.

Plenty of freshmen have had weird matches before going on to place or win it all. Gabe keeps winning while up a weight. He'll be fine

Seems weird to throw him against Kerk but sit him today if he wasn't the starter. He's not going to get an AQ spot for the weight this late in the season so may as well give him as much experience as possible. 

But, I have a feeling that he is redshirting based on the no-go today

Exactly. I was saying he should have taken bottom.. getting the escape.. making it 4-1.. then go for the takedown to make it 4-4.
