Even someone that’s not in wrestling shape shouldn’t be gassed from the get go.  That’s why it’s possible Allred losing effected his energy as well, not that that’s a good excuse of course.

He may never be in wrestling shape is the entire point. Cutting that much weight prevents it.  🤦‍♂️

If Allred losing had anything to do with it he’s not the competitor Nebraska fans want him to be. He had a section of the Husker FB players there watching him wrestle.  Not to mention personal pride in winning his individual match.

I don’t know, 40-50 pounds is a lot of weight. Plus he looks damn athletic on the football field at 330

He might look better by March. We'll see

The way people reacted on here after he pinned a below average wrestler from Wyoming you’d have thought Gable Steveson did return.

I thought it was a W?

Because that guy ain't pinning Kueter in the first if he's losing to the backup.

That guy you asked about was Kerkvliet, not Hutmacher. And the L is yours, not Hutmacher's.

Read your own posts. You will see it.

Drowning in data, but thirsting for knowledge

This performance by Nebraska reminded me a little of Chad Red's career- a lot of potential, but ended short of expectations.
