My friend took a visit to ASU for wrestling and halfway through realized he hadn't seen an academic building during his time. The school is know for partying and I bet the wrestlers aren’t an exception…. Apparently there was a pic of Zahid and his championship trophy with an illicit substance on it. Although I have not seen it.

I have seen that pic and he was snorting Vitamin D concentrate powder, bad actors on behalf of Mark Hall, as well as other Pac 12 programs conspired to slander him which resulted in a drug suspension (Zahid doesn't even know what cocaine is, I asked him and it's true, he didn't know). Again, ASU is second only to Liberty University and *possibly* the Naval Academy when it comes to abstemiousness.

Do dry programs go hand in hand with heavy religious influence? PSU, AU(under Cody), and NCState?

How do kids feel about it?

and yet Jesus turned water into wine at his own Wedding Reception.

Wait. Jesus got married? My bible must be missing a chapter.

He must be reading from one of the new fangled translations.

NC State is not a dry program. They used to be & at one time they kicked 10 people off the team for testing positive for weed(3 years ago- including some big named wrestlers). Some of the starters(& non starters) continuously test positive for weed but they look the other way now.

Sounds like it'd be great for appetite suppression and focus. Certainly better than boozing and putting the pounds on.

Per Joseph Smith & the mormon, yep - a lot missing and "not translated correctly".

Mormon leadership states Jesus was married and a polygamist - and Polygamy is
"The Order of Heaven" and you have to be practicing it to get to the Celestial Kingdom - the highest degree of heaven. Jesus had at least three wives while here & if you read the Bible you will notice he appared first to Mary Magdaline - one of his wives.

(Don't forget the teaching that God personally came to earth to impregnate Mary so Jesus would be born & be his son)

Now they are even producing Primary booklets(Primary - sunday school for the under 12 year olds) about Joseph & Polygamy.

Most programs are dry during the season.  I know we had the cut off date of November 1st.  We always hosted a huge Halloween party and then we were done.  Of course you would have some guys that would party occasionally, but the starters would stay true to it and we definitely did not put up with others partying during the season if we found out about it.

If programs are able to hold their athletes to it and the athletes want to be in a program ran with those rules, more power to them.  Personally I enjoyed being able to enjoy college life during the little bit of time that we had off the mat.  Wrestling is such a grind and it was a good break during that time to be able to be a college student.

To say I don't give a rat's ass about Joseph Smith and the book of mormon would be a massive overstatement.
