At 125, Tanner Jordan, avenges four previous losses to McKee with a big upset and 9-4 decision.

Jackrabbits with an unexpected 6-0 lead.

Caleb Gross fills in for Clay Carlson at 141 (not sure on the reason for Carlson's absence) against Vance Vombaur up next

He didn’t seem gassed when he had the go-ahead reversal then immediately got sloppy.

He seemed gassed after he got reversed with over a minute left and just laid on the mat...🤐

Michael Blockhus with a very impressive comeback victory against Cael Swensen.  Blockhus really turned it on late, and electrifies the crowd with a sudden victory takedown.  9-6 Gophers after five

Salazar had about 5 seconds of pin time with no call

Was that the cradle in the first period?  I couldn't quite see his shoulder blades, but thought he would eventually be stuck

Sloan picking Joles apart on neutral and beating him up on top.  This is a Joles who wrestled heavyweight last year and did half decent.  And Sloan looks much larger than him.  Major decision for Sloan who clocked about four and a half minutes of riding time.  16-13 Gophers going into heavies

Tabor over Rasmussen in a wild match - 19-13 for Minnesota.  Would have liked to see this dual with Carlson and Berge

Vombaur beat Carlson last year in this dual, and Salazar majored Berge. I don’t think the results would necessarily be the same, but it’s possible.

What were the refs looking in the rulebook about towards the end?

IDK for sure but my guess was checking the minimum weight requirements.  Connor Gaynor is a 165 lbs on the roster but apparently weighed in at about 166 or over, which would make him legal at 184.  You'd think that's something they would have known, but then again you don't see bump-ups in college like you do in high school.
